This diagram shows the frameworks of ADAM project and their dependencies. They does not depend on external on frameworks/libraries except for JDOM (that is needed for XML data persistence) and ACommon library (which is stored in ADAM repository but is really not a part of this project). The detailed dependencies on ACommon packages (gray color) are shown in the following diagrams: 

ADM framework shown above (transient data models and simple XML persistence) is the only ADAM component required by ALES GUI framework project and by NumLabs application project based on it.

This diagram shows the second - "persistent" - part of ADAM project. This part can be often thought as a database access engine - a facade for JDBC or other DB access technology. But this engine can access not only databases (e.g. partial implementation for table-structured text files is included) that is important for many research applications
